Welcome Elliana Rose!!

A week past due date on May 5, 2009 Elliana Rose made her debut! Her Mom successfully delivered her via a natural childbirth. 6 pounds 12 ounce healthy baby girl!! I'm loving being a first time grandma!

Global Warming????

Well it seems I don't recall our having this much snow or it being as cold as it is pre- Christmas. This is the type of weather we usually have in January and February. Sure put a wrench into last minute shopping . Thank goodness the night before the snow storm I ran out to the grocery store for some last minute items. Spent the day baking cookies and making bread. Of course I did spend some time helping hubby shovel too!

I'm going to be a Grandma!

I found out last month that come April 2009 I will be a grandma for the first time! My daughter and her husband are so very very happy. 8 weeks along..a long ways to go yet but I pray all goes well and she has a smooth pregnancy and a healthy baby
